Requisiti:

Head Chef at Meat & Pizzeria Restaurant
Full time position - Spring 2020
Salary: negotiable

Qualifications required:

At least 5+ years as Chef or Sous-Chef in a professional kitchen
Excellent interpersonal skills
Capable of leading a team and be full of initiative, working well under pressure
Up-to-date with food and culinary trends for example: sous vide preparations, dark kitchen preparations
Good understanding of useful computer programs including POS & restaurant management softwares (a plus)
Exceptional knowledge in all types of cooking especially in meat cooking & sous-vide
Credentials in food in health and safety training
Degree in Culinary Science or related certificates

Restaurant description:

The restaurant is an exciting new venue launching in the Spring Season 2020, with a state of the art kitchen (150 square meters) in the center of Desenzano / Sirmione with over 300 covers. The restaurant will specialize in grilled meat of the highest quality, ex: Chianina and meats that have gone through ?frullatura? as well as home made pizzas with fresh toppings. Job position offers great opportunity for growth, as the company will expand in different locations around Lago di Garda & Veneto region.

The location has a large kitchen space that will also serve as a ?dark kitchen? for other establishments in the area.

Job Description / Responsibilities :

Controlling and directing food preparation processes
Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer
Ensure a consistent quality in food preparation
Constructing menus with new or existing culinary creations
Organizing kitchen activities
Responsible for management and training of staff in the kitchen
Exceptional proven ability in kitchen management
Arrange for repairs when necessary
Maintain record of payroll and attendance of staff
