Senior quantitative analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Quantitative Analyst (Product Portfolio Statistical Modeling) to own analytics and reporting for our Portfolio Development team, focusing on SKU productivity and capital allocation across a portfolio of 20 000 SKUs and growing.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with CEO, Product Strategy and other stakeholders to define key strategic questions and build analysis and reporting to answer them.
• Apply statistical methods (conjoint analysis, multivariate regression, optimization) to identify product attributes that drive productivity and provide data‑driven guidance on portfolio expansion, contraction or shift.
• Detect and correct data inconsistencies at source (ERP, web product master data) directly in Snowflake, and work with platform owners to improve data quality.
• Present findings clearly to executive audiences, adapting the message for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Maintain recurring analytics reporting to deliver accurate, timely snapshots of SKU productivity.
• Leverage AI/ML to automate repetitive analysis, reduce errors and increase output at scale.

What We’re Looking For

• 2‑5 years of experience in data science, analytics or statistics in SKU‑driven businesses.
• Strong grounding in statistics or operations research (regression, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, optimization).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python with hands‑on Snowflake experience, including writing back to correct production data.
• Proven ability to present findings and challenge assumptions with senior stakeholders and executives.
• Independent executor who sets analysis priorities against business goals and delivers high‑impact work on time.
• Curiosity to investigate data anomalies and treat data quality as part of the job.
• Experience applying AI/ML for task automation in a business context.
• Strong English communication skills and high ownership mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Exposure to margin pricing or demand‑forecasting data.
• Background in retail, e‑commerce or luxury home‑furnishings.
