Our dyeing and finishing facility in Stadtallendorf, Germany, Richter Färberei & Ausrüstung Rifa, is a medium-sized innovative company with over 150 years of tradition. We specialize in the dyeing and finishing of wool, silk, and a wide range of fibers. Even when customers present us with a unique color idea, whether from a thread, fabric swatch, or paper sample, we take pride in transforming it into a precise and consistent fiber color match. From deep tones to delicate pastels, from subtle shades to vibrant hues, almost anything is possible at Rifa. Your Role
We are looking for a Colour Technologist to strengthen our Rifa team.



  • Develop dyeing recipes for both laboratory and production processes.

  • Adjust and optimize dyeing processes as required.

  • Monitor and evaluate laboratory dyeings for new or modified recipes.

  • Optimize the use of chemicals and colorants.

  • Ensure timely availability of recipes to support smooth production and on-time delivery.

  • Support quality standards with a strong focus on color accuracy and consistency.


Education & Experience



  • Solid knowledge of colorimetry and proven ability to create and match colors accurately.

  • Degree in Textile Technology preferred; Chemistry or a related technical field.

  • Understanding of various dyeing technologies and processes is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role; textile industry experience is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Good command of English; German language skills are a plus.

  • Strong computer skills; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
