Accounting Team Leader - Italy (w/m/d)

Location: Gaglianico - Full-time - Start date: as soon as possible

We are a family-run, medium-sized company operating in the yarn industry, known for our creativity, teamwork, and solid organizational structure. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounting Team Leader to join our multinational finance and accounting team. In this key role, you will lead and manage the accounting department under the supervision of the Head of Finance and Accounting, with a focus on leadership, accuracy, and operational excellence.


Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee accounting operations including accounts, collections, invoicing, VAT declarations, expense reimbursements, debt recovery, and energy reporting for the Energy Services Operator.
  • Support the Sales team on fiscal matters, credit insurance, legal issues, letters of credit, and import/export accounting.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional development and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the accounting function.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, local regulations, and international standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team development and collaboration.
  • Strong organizational abilities, able to prioritize, delegate, and deliver results in a fast-paced context.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems such as SAP, D365, or Oracle EPM is a plus.
