Account Manager – Community Management (Video Games)

Role Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for the delivery of work to assigned clients, acting as a strategic partner and ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain deep understanding of the client’s business and act as a trusted strategic partner.
• Manage project teams, including line management of Community Management Leads.
• Collaborate with Strategists, Project Managers, Creative Production and Influencer teams.
• Assist Account Directors with pitches and identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure accurate and punctual invoicing.
• Drive AI adoption for Community Management, implementing AI‑enabled tools and workflows.
• Monitor KPIs such as client retention and AI tool usage.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in Account Management or Client Services within a creative, marketing or advertising agency, preferably in video games.
• Leadership skills and ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and creative strategy in the gaming industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple projects and produce clear reports.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and project‑management software.
• Nice to have: deep knowledge of the video‑games industry, experience with AI tools, and familiarity with agency workflows.
